Alors, j'ai mis à jour à partir d'un D70s et était à l'origine d'examiner la mise à niveau vers la D300, mais il a changé mon esprit quand j'ai vu le D90. Pour un amateur de la moyenne D90 offre très semblable qualité que les D300 et la capacité à tirer de la vidéo en direct en HD. Bien sûr, vous n'aurez pas la possibilité de tirer un maximum de 6 images par seconde et une meilleure construction (bien lourd) du corps de la D300, mais pour $ 600 moins cher, je ne pouvait pas justifier la D300 sur la D90. La plus grande différence pour moi a été le grand écran LCD et comment claires et nettes regarder les photos. Auparavant, sur le D70s, j'ai eu pour effectuer un zoom avant pour vérifier mes photos, après chaque tir, mais le nouvel écran LCD est magnifique! Je pense que j'ai lu quelque part la résolution de l'écran LCD est l'équivalent de hd, mais je ne suis pas positive. La qualité d'image est grand. Je n'ai pas tous les tests techniques que je ne je ne sais pas comment faire, ou interpréter les résultats, mais non scientifique sur la base de mon "oeil" tests, la qualité est grande. J'ai pris l'intérieur portraits avec les coudés ISO jusqu'à 3200, et ils se sont toujours bonnes. Ceci est important pour moi, car je prends beaucoup de photos d'intérieur. J'aime aussi la possibilité de créer des paramètres de qualité d'image pour que je puisse facilement / rapidement accès à créer l'effet je veux (c'est-à-dire vivante, etc.) Dans l'édition de caméra. Sure de son gimmicky, mais son peu soigné comme vous pouvez le convertir rapidement vos photos en noir et blanc, redresser l'image, ou de créer un "fisheye" effect. La vidéo est une caractéristique d'avoir. Je ne vois jamais de la nécessité de prendre une photo dans le "live view" la fonction, mais avoir la possibilité de prendre la vidéo HD est agréable. Comme la plupart des gens l'ont mentionné, il faut un certain temps à se concentrer en vue en direct et il ne sera pas autofocus pendant l'enregistrement. Assurez-vous aussi à utiliser une lentille VR comme j'ai essayé de tourner sans que l'un et la différence est notable. Une autre chose à noter à propos de la vidéo: si vous prévoyez de connecter cet appareil au téléviseur pour regarder des vidéos, assurez-vous que l'entrée dans l'appareil photo est un "mini hdmi" d'entrée, et non pas la traditionnelle entrée HDMI. Cela ne devrait pas être un problème que vous pouvez trouver un adaptateur pour moins de $ 10, mais quelque chose pour être au courant. Le seul mineur avec d'autres je pense, c'est que cet appareil utilise des cartes SD par rapport au D70s qui utilise les cartes CF, il a la douleur d'avoir à se débarrasser de tous mes anciennes cartes CF et l'achat de nouvelles cartes SDHC. Globalement, c'est un grand appareil photo et d'une grande valeur que vous avez beaucoup de choses de la D300, à un coût beaucoup plus faible, ainsi que la possibilité de tourner la vidéo HD. La qualité de l'image est grande et les autres paramètres / menus font un grand appareil.

Bad News: The USB & Firewire connectors for this model Canon HV30 camera do not function well with Windows XP or Vista. This HV30 works great with MACs and formerly worked well with the old Windows XP before SP1. Most relevant issues: [..] Ok, before you click that...its big. It is a 13 pages of people giving various complaints about the HV30. There are dozens of similar people to us who have this same problem with the Windows & this damn HV30. Apparently it works very well with Mac. It works poorly with Vista & XP. The short version of it is this: FireWire is a high-speed transfer mechanism on 1394 interface. Microsoft has been developing several security patches to this. Those patches interfere with the communication of the camcorder with the computer. The very earliest version of Windows XP did ok, but nothing after Service Pack 2. Microsoft has claimed the problem is the fault of Canon. Canon claims the fault is Microsoft. The camera suppliers just say its not our problem. One of the most notable problems......Canon's website does not have ANY drivers/software/links for this HV30 ....they expect it to magically work right out of the box (which is obviously does not for many people). There was one workaround fix that a smart guy had, and I got the camcorder to be recognized on the computer as the CanonHV30 , but it only lasts for 5minutes before the microsoft standard setting resets itself. I tried on 3 of my computers....same result each time. Windows XP & Vista will not recognize the camcorder on the USB or FireWire wires. I have also tried several of the un-official ugly "tweaks" that were mentioned on those forums, none worked. I cannot see any solution to it. Options I did not try. I do not have a mini-SD card here. I am guessing that if you could record your pictures and videos directly onto the mini SD card ...you could then remove the card from the camcorder and insert that into the computer. (thus you would not need the USB or FireWire interface). But I think the recording time of those things is small in comparison to the DV Tape you have in there now. Other option would be to connect the camera up to a MAC, save the video file there on the mac, then burn it to disc, then put that disc into your home PC and edit the video. Advise: Get a more reliable brand! or tell CANON to put themselves to work to improve this issue.
